More than 650 young footballers from across West Dunbartonshire have taken part in the Midnight League football nights. And 60 lucky players have gone on to enjoy a special visit to Rangers Football Club’s training facilities. The Midnight League offers free games of seven-a-side football on Friday nights to boys and girls aged 12 to 18 years old and is run by West Dunbartonshire Council Early Intervention section. The league is held at Clydebank High School from 8pm to 10pm over a six week period with free transport provided from Alexandria, Dumbarton and Clydebank. As a special incentive to the players a tournament was arranged at Rangers Murray Park Training Complex where they participated in a training session, game and then finished with a tour of the complex.
